People seem to think that the baby will drown if still in the sac... it will not: the breathing reflex is only triggered when its face hits air. As long as the cord is still connected to mom the baby should be fine. If it is not connected to mom then it will quickly be starved of O2. With this one it is likely that the movements are nothing more than nervous responses. It saddens me though that the poor thing is not treated with a little more respect. |

The 'movements' only appear to happen when the 'doctor' is prodding and poking and moving the sac. I think the baby is dead already.

That's a child not something to be prodded and poked like that  I was born 26wks in the 70s and the midwife called me his miracle baby and visited me each day. |

My apologies. Being born with a partial amniotic sack covering the face and head is 1 in fewer than 80,000 births. Being born completely in an amniotic sac is much rarer.
