Unless you're one of the "lucky" ones who survives then develops Rhabdomyolysis (happens to a good few people struck by lightning, basically your body starts breaking down skeletal muscle tissue, it releases myoglobin into your bloodstream, it's toxic to your kidneys, and unless you get help within a few minutes, you're either on dialysis, on a transplant lisst, or an organ donor)

Whenever I see posts involving lightning I think of Roy Sullivan, Guiness record holder for surviving the most direct hits. The guy was hit 7 frigging times....then killed himself when he was rejected by the woman he loved.....
