Female, 44 here. My story.... My first step dad beat me regularly, my blood brother raped me when I was 11, I got raped 3 more times by 3 different guys when I was 13, worked as a prostitute for 2 months when I was 18 becuase I was homeless, my mom told me she didn't want me, I've had 7 step fathers, and no one in my family gives a damn if I live or die. I've had a wonderful husband who knows all this and has been wonderful about it and to me for 23 years. I struggle with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts a lot. I'm still here, but damn, am I hurting. This site is pretty much all that can make me feel like I'm lucky to be alive. Peace.

Well, I've been shot, fallen off of buildings, been in car crashes, hell, stuff I can't even remember I was so fucked up. Kudos to you man for comin out with your story that way.

I've never really come close to death apart from when a plane I was on nearly landed on top of a plane which was already on the runway, I think the landing gear clipped the vertical stabiliser of the other plane, and I've been nearly ran over about 5 times  . And also nearly committing seppuku with an inherited sword over a previous relationship, I'm glad I didn't do that. What some people will do over love...  I tend to see death around me rather than have it come toward me. |
