My husband battled a heroin addiction for years. He would shoot up on the insides of his elbows, and he did collapse a vein but he NEVER looked as bad as these girls, and he was shooting up multiple times a day. He never bruised or scabbed-that's how no one knew about it for so long.

And yes, living from one fix to another is no life at all. It will even destroy the people around you, not to mention yourself.
