the bike seat grew a leg to gtf away from the accident scene but didn't make it very far

in most asian countries including ours ( Philippines ), not too many knows how to apply First Aid, CPR, torniquets... they dont usually include that in school and they dont usually hold seminars for that. in some "advanced schools", they include that in the activities during high school. but does not really high light its real significance.

We weren't taught first aid at school either. I did a separate course hosted by the national St John Ambulance organisation.
