I watched UFC 168 at the bar and it went totally silent.
Last time Weidman beat Silva most were cheering. He was just SO cocky - pretending to wobble after being punched. Then he actually DOES go down. He didn't respect his opponent - didn't touch gloves before round 1 - dropped his hands and taunted Weidman. Barring Silva's legendary career, entertainment value - and based on just those 2 fights, Weidman gained respect while Silva lost some. Knowing he's likely done, I'm sorry Silva went out this way.

It looked like Weidman was going to beat him again anyway, but this just might have ended Silva's MMA career.

Two forces coming together - the kick and the block. This was a championship fight, the black guy had previously been the defending champion before the white guy stole his belt in a prior fight.

Totally watched this shit live, I'm surprised no one's posting pictures of the bloodied mess the next fight was.
If by "stole" you mean he knocked him out cold with a 100% legal punch while Silva was showboating like a fool, you are correct.
