While plowing fields in India with a thresher (a piece of farm equipment) this man slipped and fell onto the blades, entangling his left leg.

Villagers attempted to remove the man’s leg from the blades on the scene but were unsuccessful. The blades were then separated from the machine and the man was able to be transported to a local hospital.

I wouldn't complain if I were him, got help and is alive and maybe has a working leg.
But, probably should have cut the blades off the middle piece before removing them.
