I think this is excellent, however I havent seen any of our military guys have this done for them. I am wondering if it is expensive or if Tricare just does not cover this type of procedure. being able to run and jump with a weird leg and prosthesis compared to hobbling with a full amputation and prosthesis...its really a no brainer to me..

would that leave someone with a lopsided gait? It looks as though the ankle-turned-knee joint rests quite a bit lower than the natural one.
