My best friend in high school was an elite basketball player.. came to find out he was missing his big toe.. I was shocked on how agile he was on the court. I guess the body does everything in its power to adapt

My neighbor, at about age 8, fell off a riding mower and his bare foot went under. He had to have his leg amputated below the knee. He went on to be a star football player in High School.
