Late Miscarriage Reported at Home in Thailand
Late miscarriage is a pregnancy loss between 14 and 23 weeks under UK definitions. In the UK, miscarriage means the loss of a pregnancy before 24 weeks. In the United States, miscarriage is usually defined as a loss before 20 weeks, while stillbirth means a loss at or after 20 weeks. The boundary between miscarriage and stillbirth therefore differs by country. A loss at 20 to 23 weeks classified as a late miscarriage in the UK would be classified as an early stillbirth in the United States. |

Re: Late Miscarriage Reported at Home in Thailand
That is heartbreaking! Poor woman. I have the greatest respect and admiration for women who have miscarriages that go on to try again and have healthy babies! I was lucky and had 2 healthy babies. I have no idea how I would've coped if I had had a late miscarriage like that. I suppose you get over it, or move on, but the picture of it would stay in your head forever. |
