The wife of a country singer had 5 miscarriages before going through an ordeal, and what sounded like Hell, to have a healthy baby girl. She referred to them all as babies, no matter how far along any of them were.

She switched doctors before the 5th miscarriage. That one had no heartbeat.

Her body rejected the babies as a foreign bodies, in her words,“an autoimmune response to pregnancy. My body actually fights off a pregnancy like it would a cold or a virus.”

All are fine now, thank goodness

I wonder if that's what my problem was? I have had at least half of a dozen miscarriages. Thankfully, they were all at or before 6 weeks or so.
