Re: Krokodil, The Flesh Eating Drug.
I can't see who can know this and say...mmmm... i need me some of that. It's not a drug but a failed science experiment gone horribly wrong. I don't see anyone around here on that one ...all the other real drugs that work yes...but not that

Re: Krokodil, The Flesh Eating Drug.
If it wouldn't be for the accelerated crime rate and expense to tax pay payers this drug would bring state side I'd say I'd look forward to it being here, This junkie yellow brick road that krocodil is would clean up this country of the Meth heads and Darwin rejects. Don't forget all the wicked cool pictures, video and documentaries ! |

Re: Krokodil, The Flesh Eating Drug.
I love this drug...THIS is one of the things they should show in drug education classes in schools. They need to show this, faces of meth, truth about crack whores, effects of long term alcohol use/abuse and the withdrawl/tapering from alcohol with Delirium Tremens and seizures. If I would have learned about true alcohol withdrawl and seen the effects of it on an alcoholic as a kid? I probably would have quit drinking on the spot.. Instead I had to find out the hard way..detox in a jail cell being fed benzodiazepines to combat seizures and Delirium Tremens, and medicine for blood pressure..all the while sick as shit.. Yeh, we hear about hangovers..no one talks about Delirium Tremens.. We hear of the horror stories of interveinal drug use..but don't get shown a rotting arm from abcesses let alone krokodil.. Meth, well..everyone has that crazy uncle johnny who is a meth cook..even if they don't have a blood uncle..there's a uncle johnny cookin meth somewhere nearby you.. The teeth, the skin, the fires and burn victims..etc. meth in a nutshell... When I had D.A.R.E. classes in elementary school? had this coloring book, remember it to this day.. makes me laugh everytime I think of it.. the book was called - "Mary Jane" it was about a girl who was made out of marijuana.. and if anything? it made me (Who at the time was in 4th grade) Want to try marijuana.. And a few years later? oh boy did I try that marijuana?... So I guess I made my point..if you're going to do drug classes for kids to not use drugs? get to the dirt on them, then explain the fun shit about it..but be sure to reinforce the bad as well as you go.. |

Re: Krokodil, The Flesh Eating Drug.
Basically causes nec fasc, but it's not some unlucky soul who was infected with staph bacteria that spread out of control, it's a bunch of idiots who can see what the drug's doing and keep using anyway!!!!

Re: Krokodil, The Flesh Eating Drug.
Opioids, including desomorphine (aka 'Krokodil'), diacetylmorphine (Heroin), methadone (Methadose, Metadol), oxycodone (OxyContin, Percocet), hydrocodone (Vicodin), hydromorphone (Dilaudid), fentanyl (Duragesic), and so forth are very difficult to stop once your body develops a physical dependency to them because attempting to stop tends to make the user feel like they are slowly dying a very painful death from an especially severe case of the flu. In most countries, this is addressed by starting the user on methadone maintenance. Unfortunately, in Russia, methadone maintenance is and always has been illegal. And until recent, codeine (required for Krokodil synthesis) was available without a prescription in pharmacies. Even though there are now some cases of reported Krokodil use in the U.S., I highly doubt it'll become nearly as widespread as it is in Russia. |
