Krokodil - Eaten Alive for a High
Krokodil is a extremely potent intravenous drug that when injected produces intense euphoric effects. It is basically homemade heroin invented in rural Russia. Krokodil also has devastating effects psychically and psychologically on the human body. After extended use, the drug will start to necrotize skin, giving it a scaly, cracked, greenish color... (hence the name krokodil, similar to "crocodile" which is a species of reptile that has green, scaly, cracked like skin) The psychological effects of krokodil include; paranoia, memory loss, psychological dependence for the drug, sleeplessness and exhaustion, depression, anxiety, agitation, insomnia and a whole lot of other nasty shit.
