A 21-year-old man escaped being beheaded late Thursday afternoon, 11, by the wax line of a kite.


The fact happened on a public road near the center of the municipality of Coari, 363 distant from Manaus in a straight line.


According to information, the wax line cut off the chin, but if it reached the neck, the young man would almost certainly have lost his life by bleeding.

This was the assessment of one of the doctors on the team who attended the young man at the emergency unit in Coari.


The victim left work at around 5:30 pm and was returning to his home by bicycle when the line hit his chin.


The person responsible for playing with the kite that almost ended in death was not located by the police.
