This is during an operation on a thirteen-year-old boy who was the first ever paediatric patient to receive a living Kidney transplant in Nigeria. The kidney was donated by his older brother and the surgery was overseen by an experienced UK surgeon and nephrologist who travelled to the country to give help and advice.

I'm glad he got a kidney! Sadly enough, there are over 10,000 people on the kidney transplant list, as of yesterday, in America alone. I rank somewhere between 5000 and 6000. Too many people die, worldwide, while waiting on an organ. Kudos to his brother for being a living donor. BTW, missed you guys!! I haven't been on here in about a month and a half and I start to miss all of my favorite weirdos after a bit......

I definitely missed you guys!! As you can guess, I was busy with the holidays (American Thanksgiving and Christmas). I had a TON of orders come through my website and my poor sewing fingers are tired as hell. I also was busy with my testing and prep to join MENSA International (yay!!!!)....but I am back home at DR now........ :)
