Yikes, that looks like a fence. Pretty blunt too, if they haven't already cut it (doesn't look like it.) Guess it just missed his windpipe? |

Yeah, he was really lucky, missed all the major blood vessels and windpipe. Can't remember if it also missed the esophagus.
