Re: Kid Having a Seizure
The father did the right thing. The mother obviously knew what she was doing, and the dad was not so confident. You could tell in his voice he was terrified. The baby in the background i'm sure was perfectly fine. Was probably in a cot or something.... probably only cried because s/he could hear the commotion.

Re: Kid Having a Seizure
I used to suffer from Petit Mal or absent siezures, my sister also suffered with childhood epilepsy. Mine are different from a Grand Mal and VERY RARE, ive had 1 in 3 years. I take Topamax as a prophylactic measure. I dont remember a thing, I also dont piss and shit myself. And i get very tired afterwards and need a nap. All of this apparently normal in the way of a fit or tic. Absent Siezures is rare in adults, but for me its usually when im very tired and stressed, i feel a bubbly sensation in my head for a few minutes, this is the only advanced warning i get. Apparently i then start to make incoherent sentences or smack my lips, i then stare blankly without blinking for a good 3-7 minutes. this is me seizing. during this time if i havent sat down, or im sitting at a table, i can go limp and fall over. Its not fun, but thankfully for me, its rare, and because i get advanced warning, take medication, and chill out andnot work 60 hour weeks, i can drive a car with minimal risk. Cheers all.... |
