Re: Khukri Knife Strike To Face
Good question, It looks like fairly clean cut. One or two strikes, three if he was really fucking accurate (which would be hard on a flailing and screaming person). Blade must have been sharp and heavy (2-3lbs)

Re: Khukri Knife Strike To Face
If you have hold a khukri ( learned a new name on it, always called it a gurkha-knife) you would know its possible to chop a mans head off clean with one strike, its pretty heavy....and sharp of course- its a knife...

Re: Khukri Knife Strike To Face
One nasty blade/tool.. And an illegal carry-on weapon or tool in some states in the U.S. .. (mainly due to blade length. Others, due to the blade shape.) As for questions of how many strikes to get to the center of the guy's cheek? was just 1... Can tell..lack of other wounds/incisions around the area of prominent damage. (And knowing these are some bad ass knives.. it was a one and done deal.. think machete... but blade curved to add leverage. |

Re: Khukri Knife Strike To Face
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The slice is very clean and straight, like it was done in a single fluid motion. This is the best photo I could find of what multiple cuts would look like, along with a small description from the website: An incised wound complex of the anterior neck. Note that there are multiple wound angles on each side, indicating that multiple cuts were inflicted in this homicide. The direction of infliction (ie, right to left or left to right) could not be determined in this case. |
