A subconjunctival hemorrhage (or subconjunctival haemorrhage) also known as hyposphagma or bleeding of the eye, is bleeding underneath the conjunctiva. The conjunctiva contains many small, fragile blood vessels that are easily ruptured or broken. When this happens, blood leaks into the space between the conjunctiva and sclera.
Whereas a bruise typically appears black or blue underneath the skin, a subconjunctival hemorrhage initially appears bright red underneath the transparent conjunctiva. Later the hemorrhage may spread and become green or yellow, like a bruise. Usually this disappears within 2 weeks.

I have this at the moment due to vomiting, i vomited that much the pressure burst some vessels in my eyes causing the bleeding. People can also get this from coughing, choking, straining, strenuous exercising and other things.

The eye bleeding, yesterday and today. As you can see my eyes are quite sore and glazed, will take up to 2 weeks for them to be normal again:

I get this at night. My eyes dry out and the lid will literally stick to my eye ball. When I open them in the morning, it tears the cornea a little bit. Hope it gets better soon Kelly.
