Well, if it's a flesh eating bacteria it doesn't take that long to look that way.

If anyone thinks they have a fleshing eating bacteria on a wound some bleach water will do until you rush yourself to an emergency room.

Clearly this wound could have been contained with a little bleach water and rush treatment at a hospital -- if it was indeed caused by a flesh eating bacteria.

Any wound you get in the wild or on a metal surface or in a pond of water ought to be treated with bleach water and observed for signs of worsening.

So, all you nature lovers who like swimming in dirty pools of water, rolling in the dirt, or hopping over dirty metal surfaces, keep some bleach water handy. And get to a doctor quickly of a mere scratch doubles in size in the course of a few minutes.
