I was looking for a good copy of one of the emergency medical show with the black guy with a cockroach in his ear.

I believe it was, "Untold Stories of the ER."

He kept shreiking and not talking! His wife brought him to the hospital.

Turned out, he had a deadly fear of cockroaches and was paralyzed with fear! His worse dream had come true.
