Italian Tourist Got Hit by Boat Propeller in Colombia
An Italian tourist remains in the ICU of the Medihelp Clinic, after being hit by the propeller of a boat while bathing in an island area of the Rosario Islands, in Cartagena, Colombia The accident happened at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, when the foreigner was outside the boundary area for swimmers. The victim was identified as 58-year-old Andrea V. P, who suffered multiple injuries to the head and other parts of the body. T he captain of the motorboat provided immediate assistance and the injured was transferred to a nearby assistance center, and afterwards to Bocagrande, where he remains under reserved prognosis. The National Navy of Colombia, through the Coast Guard, reported that the vessel was immobilized and the case is being investigated, and confirmed that the patient was surgically intervened immediately.   |
