The families of these women need to start standing up. Do the exact same thing to the man and his mother ( the mother-in-law's support and encourage this). I don't think it would take long before this stops.

Just so you know---this is more of a tribal primitive response that has nothing to do with Islam. Islam permits divorce and is slanted in the direction of the woman (ie woman gets to ask for divorce for many reasons, man still needs to support her). Lots of women in the West get maimed, killed by their sociopathic husbands who might even go to church on Sunday---let's not generalize. In fact, the most dangerous man for any woman in the West is her own husband or boyfriend. |
