Intensely Nasty....Yet Its Preventable.
Pressure Ulcers caused by prolonged lack of movement in one position. The elderly are at the highest risk.This is my first post!! Let me know what I may have done wrong. |

I worked in nursing homes when I was in high school and college, and one time there was this hugely obese woman who had a decubitus ulcer the size of a dinner plate, had eroded so deep that her spine was revealed, and they were treating her with betadine mixed with sugar. It was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. |

My stepdad's mum got this when she was a few days from passing away :( The people at the care place-thing she were at didn't move how she lied down at all! :(
