seatbelts can be quite dangerous too, but not too often. Most collision are front collisions, where a seatbelt comes handy. as a matter of fact, a week ago, some guy in my town slided into a pole without a seatbelt. If he had used it, his legs would've been ripped off, because the seat moved upwards and the where the belts are fastened, went down. |

It depends on a few factors... #1 being how prone you are to bruising in the first place. #2. Do you have pre-tensioners on your car. #3. Speed of impact. For bruising that bad I'm going to assume speeds upwards of 40 mph. |
