I ended up taking a course of penicillin and took about two weeks to clear up! It kept falling back and blocking my throat when I was sleeping lol thanks for the input guys, there really wasn't much on the Internet. :)

Oh the doctor was useless, said it was tonsilitis... When there was hardly any involvement with the tonsils :/
