Re: Infected Tattoos

i would have to agree, its pretty easy to keep a tattoo from getting infected...
It is also pretty easy to let it get infected.

Don't keep it clean, pick at the scabs after you've scratched your ass, let flies on it, get it wet, show if off in the pub the night you had it done, with all sorts of people poking, rubbing and spraying saliva over it......

Re: Infected Tattoos

ACTUALLY

SOME of those do not look like the tattooists fault.
a couple of them look like laser removal results, thats what it looks like after
The bubbly one is a red ink allergy, bet you anything. seen it happen a few times.
there are a couplle on there, that look like mrsa, which can be the tattooers fault and can be the clients fault.

If you get a staph infection it lays dormant in your system for months sometimes.
if you get cut, or any type of skin break theres a possibility of it comming back as mrsa or cellulitis.
A few do look like removals. I'm having one on my chest removed and it looked HORRIBLE! It straight up looked infected, but it was just burned flesh/irritation. And a few also look like ink allergies too.

People don't seem to understand that something as simple as your artist not shaving the area properly can contribute to an infection. Or picking up your cat. A tattoo is an open wound that needs to be kept clean and dry (but moisturized) while it's healing.

If you get a tattoo in someone's kitchen for $10 then you deserve to possibly lose a limb. Also, if you do that, you're an asshole and I hate you.
