Mine took a little under 3 years for the channel to heal completely (I'm a fatty and also I requested a deeper piercing than normal - had to sign a special waiver for it - to help with rejection or migration issues). When I was piercing professionally I always HATED doing them - they are super easy to pierce but it's always dumdums getting them and not listening to me and then OF COURSE..dundunDUN! Infection!  Back on topic, this isn't from a piercing, how does this happen? Just not cleaning your navel? I wash mine out with antibacterial soap every shower and I have a pretty deep one since I'm rather fat..... |

I like how so many of the people you see on here with horrifically puss filled orifices, never seem to bother going to the docs. Instead they whip out the shit tickets and earbuds, avoid all forms of protective gear and hope for the best.  |

Yes they are one of the hardest to heal properly, though this is not from a piercing.
