This seems like a massive pyogenic infection caused by a bacteria. This man is most likely immunosuppressed somehow (AIDS, chemotherapy, etc.).

In the second picture you can see something resembling maggots. This is in fact the lower part of the right parotid gland, or it could be the submandibular gland.
