[Seven Of Nine]

In addition to having no energy or strength (going on my 7th month) my hypertension has returned. It is all over the map and although I saw my Dr. yesterday, while I was there it was a healthy 127 on 77. This is the same doctor I have seen for over 30 years, she had me wear a BP and a heart monitor a few years ago at which time she put me on Atacand and Adalat (I also have a really erratic and fast heart beat).

During the Sepsis my BP dropped, of course, so I was taken off these meds. Check out the photo I took an hour ago after getting a small load of laundry out of the dryer and sitting to fold ...I don't know what to do. She didn't offer to put me back on my meds even though I told her my bp was spiking every night again.

it's not fun is it. Do you find that when you do something simple like lifting a bag of groceries up onto the counter your heart starts jumping out of your chest? Or sometimes does it just start palpitating for no reason at all!?

My heart rate can go as high as 200 and over if I try and exercise. Cardio will kill me.

I was rather surprised myself. She is always super attentive, I got a distant feeling from her. Maybe something personal is going onion her world, and Dr. or not, we're all permitted to have off days. She did tell me to start recording my pressures again, but three years ago when she didn't really believe mine could be so high, after wearing the monitor she was all apologetic. I dunno. I'll monitor and record for a couple of weeks and hope I don't die before I see her again ;)

Hi Durt. It's not that high all day, but it spikes, with little provocation and often much higher than what you're seeing here. The diastolic is sometimes over 130, so when it does spike I often get a reading of 158/137 or something with a heart rate of 125-150. God it feels like I'm going to die when it's happening.

Having seen her for so long and new doctors nearly impossible to come by, how do I even start sharing my whole life with someone new? Yet I think I need to find someone else to take her place. That makes me sad.

My heartbeat is often 120 resting... It is scary but I have no clue what to do about it.
