Yep, they are eating brain pan stew. But they just might be part of the reason he is still alive in the video. Maggots eat corruption. They actually gravitate to that over healthy tissue. This man might die, but it will be in spite of the maggots, not because of them. I found it interesting, and not hard to watch at all. Hopefully this man got some additional help from man---the animal kingdom did great!

I read how rare it is to survive this type of infestation and all that saves the life is the fact they're only eating infected tissue and prevention of further infection. Amazing  |
