Huge Hairball Found in Stomach of 6 Year Old Girl
Doctors at the Turkestan Regional Children's Hospital performed a complex stomach operation on a 6-year-old girl, Aikyn.kz reports, citing the regional paper. A patient with a very large amount of foreign matter in her stomach was urgently transported by ambulance from the city of Turkestan to the reception department of the Regional Children's Hospital. At that time, a foreign matter was detected in the stomach by performing an EFGDS procedure, and a complex operation was performed. During the operation, doctors removed a handful of hair that had become stuck in the child's stomach. The hair that came out of the stomach weighed about one kilogram.
