Tim's response to those who question why:
"Originally I had surgery scheduled to have the tumor removed. At that time the surgery sounded horrific, they would have had to cut all the nerves on that side of my mouth, break my jaw in half and remove my zygomatic arch to access the tumor. It was deep within my jaw. I was given an option to use naturally healing to dissolve the tumor. I may not have been able to dissolve the tumor but I learned so much about myself during that journey, I became a very spiritual person and meet so many amazing people. It wasn't until I went to Brazil to see John of God that I decided to go in to the hospital to drain an infection. They cut into the tumor to take a biopsy from the inside and outside of my mouth, after that procedure the tumor tripled in size. Everyone will have their opinion on "why didn't I do this, or why didn't I do that" but no one really knows the answer until they are put in that exact situation. I am still alive, I am still able to inspire many people, I don't dwell on "What If's" doing that all day is a waste of time!! Hope that clears things up."

Yeah, good for him, but I do think he could have gotten much better results with some other doctor. Apparently, Dr Kongkrit Chaiyaste does seem to specialize in plastic/reconstructive surgery. I'm not medical/surgical expert, but it doesn't seem like much was rebuilt in this person's case.

When you look at pictures of him from last year, his left half of his face is pretty much non-existent, just looks like a melting mass of flesh.

Consider this woman who also had bone cancer of the jaw. While her case may not be as bad as this guy, her surgeons did an amazing job in removing major portions of her face while reconstructing it as close to normal as possible.

God-awful job. There are people on here with their face blown to smithereens by a shotgun blast whose reconstruction went better than this... And if the shit results weren't enough, why tf did they have to also take his eye?
