Yup, hit my out-of-pocket max just from PET & CT scans. I’m definitely getting all my money “back”.

Unfortunately this surgery was late in the year, I’ll probably hit max next year too.

Yup, I’m on both of those. Docuset & Miralax. Didn’t stop me from getting jammed up. Prior to this I had several instances where my bowels would get compacted and I’d have to clear out with Mag Citrate. After going a few rounds with PPIs and Linzess thinking it was IBSC or an ulcer, I started taking Metamucil daily and that has kept it at bay

After throat surgery you pretty much eat whatever you can tolerate swallowing. I just went with the and ate yogurt, milk, ice cream, pudding, Mac & cheese (blended) etc. most of those cause you to stop up and with me especially.

So now I’ve dumped all dairy which means chicken noodle soup with scrambled eggs in a blender is my new go-to. Plus Jello and applesauce. Added Metamucil back in but the orange flavor BURNS on the way down so might have to pick up some bland shit.

The cautery in the throat is rather painful.

Hope you get better soon.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Also…this made me think about the men who wear pins, bikers I think, showing off they eat their chicks out when they are on their cycle. You, my dude, should get a pin of your own. Perhaps a medal. You did some mean munching. Among the ranks with Michael Douglas.
