Thank you for this video... it made me cry tbh lol. My brother has been dependant on heroin for 3 and a half years, we don’t live together nor do I see him often, but I keep a naloxone kit in my bathroom in case anything happens if he does come by. Unfortunately, I’ve had to use naloxone kits two times with him, he’s OD’d multiple times and his heart has stopped three times. If I didn’t seek help from a registered nurse and didn’t have any training on how to use a naloxone kit, my brother would be dead whilst in my home. I just hope this video and information reaches out to anyone who is currently struggling with addiction or knows an addict.

Great info Chris I carry Meloxone and Narcan in my Paramedic kit in my truck I’ve used it two times over the years but thank God Tx just passed a law where anyone can buy it on line

My ex husband was a heroin addict. After the beating he gave me on our honeymoon (which was when I discovered his habit) I would have happily watched him die in the gutter of an overdose.

there aren't apes overdosing on fentanyl in nature, you absolute toad. humans created these drugs, we also created fail-safes for them. knowing about them is a good thing.

Thanks for this, Chris. My world caved in when my 20 year-old nephew died of a heroin/xanax overdose on his only brother's 18th birthday. How someone with a name like "Arthur Llewellyn VanBenSchoten V" (the 5th) could just up and die like that, is beyond me. And how does his brother ever really get to celebrate his own birthday anymore? So yeah, overdose sucks really bad. It's easy to pass judgment in an impersonal way until it strikes close to home - then you'll find your empathy real quick. By the time this epidemic is over, few will be untouched by it, I'm sure. But if you're one of them, be grateful because it's a life changer for everyone involved.

Unlike many tribute sites, I actually built his up to a respectable size out of sheer love and grief. Twelve people got tribute tattoos for Artie in memoriam, many of them pictured in his tribute.
