This is How a Dislocated Shoulder is Repositioned
This is a very painful procedure and is often done under local anesthesia.

Re: This is How a Dislocated Shoulder is Repositioned
I had to have this done after a car wreck. Mine was a bit more difficult since my arm ended up on top of my head and I couldn't lower it. Glad anesthesia is a common thing.

Re: This is How a Dislocated Shoulder is Repositioned
There used to be this guy on the rugby team whose knee would go out periodically while playing. When it did, one guy had to hold down his shoulders, one guy would sit on his middle/hips the the biggest guy out there would twist his leg back in. No anesthetic need apply. His scream was awful.

A few years back I broke and dislocated my ankle. They knocked my ass out. You just feel that bone POP in the vid.
