I had braces for 18 months- BRUTAL! They were 'adjusted' every 2 weeks by a sadistic orthodontist; had rubber bands, nightbrace, the works- but by god they're straight now!

I'm impressed, had no idea braces would work for chompers that misaligned ?

My parents couldn't afford braces for me in my youth but I've ben fortunate in other ways though, a few of my teeth are a little cockeyed but I'm 44 and have yet to have a cavity.

My wife had braces when we met & she was very safe with them.

I've had braces and they left a metal bar behind my bottom teeth, cemented in. The braces also corrected my horrie overbite by training my jaw muscles to stregnthen in a certain way.

I had a friend whose teeth were actually more crooked than the ones in that gif. The braces straightened them almost as quickly, too. When she first had them put on, though, they looked like bugs on her teeth.
