I know diabetics can have circulation issues and nerve damage. I know older people tend to not get washed or bathe/shower as often as younger people. I would notice any little change right away, but, I'd like to hear from some of the members with medical backgrounds on this one myself. |

the only thing I know about it is that people with diabetes are really vulnerable to gangrene etc. when they get minor injuries like a stubbed toe or a small cut, it can cause a severe infection or reaction. wounds on their feet don't heal as quickly, and I guess that makes infections more likely.
