Ouch dude. hope they can reattach the end. That's alot like what happened to my little finger. Log rolled down and crushed it off. I actually saved just a bit more than you did. A neighbor kid picked up the tip for me. Eventually the tip ended up in a little jar with alcohol. Grandma set it by my plate at breakfast the next morning. Ummm yummm. finger food for breakfast. Seriously dude... Please post all the recovery photos. I can't imagine how you could stop to take photos.

When I was little my mom had the same thing happen to her while changing a tire, the Jack slipped and the rim caught the tip of her fingers, once they removed the piece hanging off by a thread of skin, it healed up nicely. My little brother used to call it her Wormy.

Heres some updates on my finger. There is my finger in formaldehyde then the bloody pic is just after the doc put the stitches in and then the ones over the counter are three days after the incident. And of course the beast that ate my finger
