Homeless Woman With a Head Full of Maggots and Exposed Skull
Belém, Pará state, Brazil According to information, a man passing by the place came across the lady, who was homeless and had a head injury infested by larvae. The man recorded a video showing the woman's situation and claimed that he had already called Samu (the emergency medical service) and the fire department, but no vehicle showed up to help the lady. Only after the video was released on the internet and after the negative repercussions, did the City Hall of Belém decide to send two ambulances to help the homeless woman. |

Btw they cut her hair as seen in the picture so my guess is it was an infection first, and then the tissue became necrotic but the woman was hoping it would heal, instead it progressed to what we see now  |
