That doesn't look real. Why is the skin over the skull so thick? That's like a few inches... not a few mm like it normally is. Even the most insane swelling and oedema won't thicken your scalp that much.

With that much brain loss there can’t be much function beyond instinctual I wouldn’t think…

As far as I know, your brain is inside your skull and from what I can see here it's purely his skin around the skull that is affected..
