Sulphuric acid as in lead acid batteries is caustic, it doesn't burn skin like something out of an "Aliens" movie, but some people are pretty sensitive to it, and it really does a number on clothing if you don't rinse it off immediately. Of course, it's diluted in a lead acid battery, undiluted and heated a bit and it really will melt skin.

Hey, I see you're new here.. Here is a tip: Look at bluekiller's threads and pictures, but NEVER believe the stories she puts along with them. None of them are ever true. There are a billion more posts of this kid, and they all have the true story. She just makes stories up when she finds pictures.
