Heel Injury from Foot Being Crushed
A case of a severe heel injury after a young man tried to stop a moving boat with his foot!

A group of friends were out on a boat and while they were trying to dock it, the patient thought it would be a good idea to put his foot in front of it in an attempt to stop it but the boat just kept going and the heel got crushed between the concrete and the boat, breaking the heel and causing extensive soft tissue damage. They wraped the foot in a t-shirt and waited for the ambulance to arrive to take him to the hospital.

He underwent a total of 5 operations to reconstruct the foot and replace the missing tissue and skin with skin grafting.
