Heart Attack for Merchant After Men Trying to Extort Money from Him
Venezuela, A merchant suffered a heart attack when officers from the Theft Brigade showed up without a court order at his business establishment last Wednesday, August 17. According to family members, the officials were allegedly extorting money from the merchant identified as L. B, requesting a sum of money when the merchant collapsed and fell to the ground. The relatives of the victim request that the Public Ministry initiate an immediate investigation against the acting officials, who, according to witnesses, left the place shortly after what happened, without offering help or assist the victim. According to relatives, L.B. is torn between life and death in the intensive care unit at a clinic in the area after suffering the heart attack. |
