Re: Hairy Mary's Home Birth
Okay, I will be the first to say it, I am SOOOOO glad I had 2 C-sections. I do NOT want to start an argument/discussion about vaginal vs. C's, but I would have gladly opted for the C, if they were not medically necessary. My mother had my brother and I natural and she is all for it......it is all personal choice, so neither is better than the other. I'm just saying that I think it is stupid to argue over which is better. I still would have a C though!!! |

Re: Hairy Mary's Home Birth
If it's stupid to argue over which is better then why make an argument over it or mention it? Anywho... 4 kids in 3 pregnancies. Episiotomies are on their way out actually. They do more damage for longer healing times than natural tearing and most women barely tear. I was in the OR for twins but the nurse smashed my stomach to get the second to flip and I was lucky. I didn't want anyone cutting open my gut while I was awake. I told them to have some wonderful narcotics ready, perhaps something for anxiety to jam in my IV. And most women deliver with crazy bushes. It's near impossible to get a good shave, waxing - hell no. Last thing you want is an ingrown hair pain to add to all that crap and most women listen to docs and don't get it done close to delivery for two reasons - risk of infection which can go bad fast since pregnancy suppresses immune systems and laying flat on your back is back for both you and lowers the baby's heart rate. Damn, I couldn't even reach my legs with the twins. |
