I did gymnastics for a while and it's not the broken bones that you have to worry about, it's the ligaments that can kill your career. Torn ACL is pretty much the end, though a few gymnasts do come back from that.

Exactly!!! Idiots screaming at their daughter who requires the highest level of concentration for her own safety should be ushered out or fined. Distraction is probably the highest cause of injury.

Before my gran retired from nursing she'd see a LOT of these little gymnast girls come into the ER with bone density worse than old women. :(
