I am sure his femur is also broken because the hip to knee is much shorter on that leg. Ya know when you break your femur the muscles are very strong, so it tightens right up and "shortens" your leg. If dude is lucky the femur break is so bad he can't feel that mangled ankle!

OWWWW Oh man! Poor guy! He's in shock---he's gonna die if someone doesn't put a tourniquet up at the top of his femur, or tie off the femoral vein/artery. While EMS makes their way to accidents like this, seems like so many people just stand around and let accident victims bleed out, who could have been saved by some direct pressure. But.....well, I guess everyone's blood is considered infected with HIV, so better safe than sorry??
