21 December, longest night of the year. A day to remember

Guy Survives 4 Meter Face Forward Fall Onto Concrete Floor, shatters all the bones in his face . . . .

For some unknown reason (aside from gravity) the guy fell down four metres with his face on the floor. Altough it knocked him out he woke up 5 minutes later when someone gave him a hard punch in the stomach after not responding to the shouting of onlookers.

Someone found him shortly after, lying face down in a puddle of blood after the person heard a strange noice and looked around the corner.

He was found after laying there for a minute or so and people freaking out (at first it looked like he was dead) some people made phone calls for a car or ambulance to get him to the hospital.

In the mean time he got up and they helped him on a chair and washed some of the blood from his face.

After a few checkup questions it was clear he had no back nor neck trauma, no alcohol consumed, used no medicin etc. But his face, arm and knees where too painfull to touch.

After being rushed to hospital they made a CT scan and some Röntgen and the doctors concluded he broke his left elbow and his facial bones became a 150+ piece chinese puzzle

But so far no internal bleeding and he is alive (for now).

that shows even four meters can cause severe damage when you fall face down on concrete.

If he landed a bit different he could have broken his neck and than this would have been in the Death section

But luckily for the guy he isn't

They can do wonders with reconstructive surgery these days Mind you his face looks pretty good considering

I already thought that something was wrong
He was already patched up on those pics...
Faceplanting from 4 meters didn't add up with the pics

I had to show him a picture from his face after the doctor said he broke all the f# bones in his face! Otherwise he didn't believed it

He had no pain in the face, only did his jaw hurt as he tried to close his mouth

I've always heard falling 3 times your body height is a fatal height ; generalized of course .
