I choked on an ice cube when I was a kid, and everyone thought I was playing a joke for attention. It must have been lodged in my throat for what seemed like two minutes, and I'd go from room to room begging someone to help me. My aunt eventually slapped me on the back and it came out.

Dude, that's really fucked up! I have choaked before due to having a plastic toy hand granade aimed and squirted at me, I started laughing (I was 8) and the cap came off and lodged itself in my throat and it was instant total panic so I cannot imagine going through such a lengthy time in that panic and pain! |

I choked on an ice cube too when I was a kid! It was straight out of the freezer so it still had those edges on it. My friend just looked at me while it happened, and after maybe 30 seconds my esophagus just propelled it right out. I still can't chew ice cubes.
