He may not have forgotten. Reminds me of the "hillside of fingers" I forget what part of the world it happened in, but a fireworks company accidentally made a bunch of M80/Cherry bombs with quickmatch fuses. Quickmatch burns at close to 1ft per 0.25 seconds. These things had the usual 2in fuse, so when an unfortunate victim lit one it would explode in about 0.02 seconds...

Suppose it's ones interpretation of big. I've been a Pyro a very long time now, there's definitely some dangerous you can get- but the power limit on the ones you don't need a license or permit for is low to contain the damage done by intentional misuse. These days it's "stick this in your ass and go to the hospital" rather than my preferred "stick this in your ass and have pieces of you found 2 cities away"
